Why is the game so dark?

Why is the game so dark?

This game was very dark on the N64, however it may be worse on the emulator. There are a few things you can do - turn brightness up in the game options, or and use the brightness option in the 1.6.1 plugin (requires pixel shaders v2+ and may have other issues). You could also try adjusting display or graphics card brightness.
